Group Lessons!
Only 6 students maximum per group.
This ensures one-on-one instruction and thorough understanding
of concepts.
1. Beginner – Basics: opening principles, checkmates
in one, basic strategy, forward thinking, notation.
3 hours (1/wk) $50/person
2. Advanced – For the tournament player: tactics, mates
in 2 or more, pattern
recognition, theory, visualization, tournament preparation.

Adults! – Tired of losing to your child or struggling
to beat him or her? Do you want to support your child’s
enthusiasm for the game but don’t know how to help at
home? Anyone can learn to play chess, and with instruction
and some effort, can become a strong chess player. Let me
show you the tricks! All levels welcome.
3 hours (1/wk) $60/person
Family discounts available! All lessons held at the International
School of Tucson, 1730 N. First Ave.
Schedules to be determined. If unsure of level, FREE 10-minute
assessment Friday night at the Drop-In Chess Centre from 6-8pm
every Friday night.
